                   I LOOK BACK

I look back to see a timorous school girl
At the corner of a classroom

  Reading a book absent-mindly,
             peeking out in anticipation .
I look back and see a young girl on her
way to give a intrepid look as to veil
                       her agitation

I look back and see a chaotic girl trying
to consummate the unrealistic                             expectations  of the society .

I look back and see a fitful girl in agony
   capitulating her wishes for other's
                      fectility.

Wearied with all these she looks up
determined to end up all the                            compulsions and ascend to win.

Today I only look back to see how far
              I   have  come

The predestination of a girl                    "  A question to all" The flickering lights of the street did tremble                 her steps Last night's nightmares were all flashing in                her mind She quickened steps hearing the stranger's              voice at 11'o clock that night She was confident, bold yet helpless One of them grabbed her phone ,the other        pulled her ruthlessly  The trees aside witnessed another such act The misogyny ,the pain was even being felt               by the streets  The nature's hospitality went all in vain          The girl was rapped gruesomely  The society accused her ironically for this act Such creatures who...
